Night Owl Trail Run

The Night Owl Trail Run is an evening trail race held at Estero Llano Grande State Park in Weslaco, Texas. Runners begin after sunset, not in the morning. The event includes a 5K, 10K, and 10 Miler, along with a separate Night Owl Kids Run that starts before the main races. The course winds through the park, passing Alligator Lake, Ibis Pond, and South Texas greenery. This is the only night trail run at Llano Grande. Families, children, and runners of all distances (5K, 10K, and 10 Miler) participate within the same event timeframe. Chip timing and live results are provided, with awards determined by gun time.
