Novant Health Lake Norman 15K & 5K

The Novant Health Lake Norman 15K & 5K begins on N. Cove Road in Cornelius, North Carolina, near Lake Norman. This Sunday event offers two distances: a 5K, suitable for families with minimal turns, and a 15K for those seeking a longer morning run on the peninsula. The race has taken place annually since 1981 and is part of the Run Charlotte season. The 15K course navigates the peninsular "fingers" of Lake Norman, whereas the 5K follows a more straightforward path. Participants include children, families, and age-group competitors, with age divisions from 14 and under up to 75 and older. Participants receive long-sleeve shirts while available.
