Peace Ranch Wilderness 5K/10K Run

The Peace Ranch Wilderness 5K/10K Run is an annual run/walk in Traverse City, Michigan, with both distances starting in the morning. The event is based at Peace Ranch and takes runners into the Pere Marquette Forest. Participants can choose between a 5K on hard-packed sand roads or a 10K more suited for trail runners. The 10K attracts runners from across Michigan because of its challenging terrain, while the 5K offers a more manageable forest route for walkers and runners. The Traverse City Track Club supports the event. Dogs are permitted if kept leashed and in cars until shortly before the start. Post-race amenities include refreshments, a medal ceremony, shirts, timed results, and a swag bag for registered participants.
