The Pilar McLemore Butterfly Run is a 5K run/walk held at the Longview Arboretum & Nature Center in Longview, Texas. The race begins at the Arboretum’s West Gate, facing Maude Cobb, and benefits the Texas Oncology Foundation. Proceeds remain in East Texas to support families affected by cancer.
The event features the Pilar McLemore 5K Run and a free Little Bug Run for children 12 and under through the Arboretum gardens. Participants are encouraged to wear butterfly wings. Registration provides admission to the Arboretum, a race bib, a swag bag, and breakfast post-race.
