Run For The Apples is a 5-mile run/walk at Jacobson’s Pine Tree Apple Orchard in White Bear Lake, Minnesota, with a morning start in October. The name is literal: runners and walkers finish with apple treats, and the orchard setting stays part of the day after the race.
The event supports Strive Scholarship students at White Bear Lake Area High School, so the entry fees help fund local scholarships rather than just the race itself. After finishing, participants can stop at the orchard store for apples, bakery goods, fresh cider, gifts, and other orchard items, and chip timing is handled by FrontRunner.
