Silverheels Trail Runs

Run through high alpine and sub-alpine meadows with expansive views of South Park Valley beneath the Decalibron 14er's. This Silverheels Trail Runs course mixes single track, fire roads, and dirt stretches, leading you through ghost towns and past abandoned mines. Journey along the Gold Dust Trail, winding through aspen groves and over high mountain creeks. Look for old mining encampments and the historic miners ditch, hand-dug in the late 1800s. You might even see Silverheels Mountain and the Milky Way Galaxy.
