Solstice Run

The Solstice Run takes place in Seattle's Magnuson Park on Father's Day weekend, offering multiple distances rather than a single main event. Adults can select a 5K, 10K, 15K, or duathlon. Children have a 400-meter dash before the longer races begin. This event is part of the Magnuson Series, a collection of local park races that includes walking, cycling, team runs, obstacle races, and longer running events at other times. The race format is practical and suited for families. The children's race starts first, followed shortly by the longer events beginning together. The variety of distances accommodates beginners, regular park runners, families, and those interested in a bike-run format, allowing them to participate in the same morning regardless of their individual goals.
