The Gene Groves Memorial Firecracker 2-miler, America’s Largest Small-Town 4th of July Celebration, honors its founder, Gene Groves. For 25 years, he helped create this fast, mostly flat course along city streets. The race kicks off before the Grand Parade. Prizes will be awarded for most patriotic and best dressed.
