The Ritz-Carlton Gobbler 5K & Master Yoga Class is a 5-kilometer walk-or-run event at Grande Lakes Resort in Orlando, located at The Ritz-Carlton. It combines a relaxed 5K with yoga and recovery work, focusing on movement, stretching, and post-event well-being rather than intense racing. Resort guests and the public are invited, all ages are welcome, and participants will receive a shirt, medal, and goodie bag.
The route follows the back nine of the resort’s championship golf course, designed by Greg Norman, offering participants a resort-golf environment instead of a city-road course. Yoga is integrated into the event, featuring a pre-run session led by Sidney McNairy IV and a restorative master class emphasizing deep stretching, breathwork, and recovery. Post-event, attendees can access therapist-led recovery work using Theragun technology, sound bowl meditation, mimosas or champagne, healthy snacks, and a raffle for spa prizes.
