The Youth Village 5K Run/Walk

The Youth Village 5K Run/Walk takes place on a Saturday morning at 400 Michigan Avenue in Battle Creek, Michigan. The event includes a 5K run/walk and a Kid's 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk. Packet pickup is available before the races. The kids' mile begins first, followed by the 5K, with awards presented later in the morning. New Level Sports Ministries organizes the race. This organization works with student-athletes aged 1 to 18, focusing on educational enrichment, personal growth, spiritual development, and physical activity. This is a community 5K, not solely designed for fast runners. The event accommodates walkers, children, families, adult age-group runners, and older participants. Award divisions range from 14-and-under to 70-and-over. Prizes are awarded to the top overall male and female finishers, as well as the top three males and females in each age category. Results will be posted on-site after each event and later via MAC's Sports Timing. Donations made during registration will support New Level Sports Ministries programs; fundraising is optional.
