The Toughest 10K Kemah is a 10K race held in Kemah, Texas, utilizing the Kemah Boardwalk. The boardwalk sections are flat, but the race's difficulty comes from four crossings of the Kemah/Seabrook Bridge, divided between two complete loops.
Following the last bridge segment, participants proceed to a flat finish on the boardwalk. The course humorously refers to the descent from the bridge as the downhill reward. The event primarily attracts runners from Texas, with an expected turnout of nearly two thousand participants. All finishers will receive a medal.
