Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk - The Triangle

The Triangle edition of the Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk is a 3.1-mile run-or-walk event based at 11455 Forest Pines Drive in Raleigh, North Carolina. It is scheduled in October and includes separate registration groups for adults, first responders and military, teens ages 13 to 17, and children 12 and under. The wider Tunnel to Towers series honors Stephen Siller, an FDNY firefighter who died on September 11 after running through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel toward the Twin Towers with his gear on. The Triangle event is in its 14th year and brings together runners, walkers, families, first responders, military members, and supporters raising money for Tunnel to Towers programs.
