En el Best Centre de Mallorca, esto no es nadar en aguas abiertas, qué va; aquí es darle y darle a la piscina hasta que las paredes te empiecen a hablar. El Open Water Swim gira en torno al intento de Ross Edgley de hacer la “longest distance swum in a pool in a week,” y ojo, que viene de un historial que incluye Loch Ness y una vuelta a Great Britain nadando en 158 days.
El curro es sin piedad: “swim for an average of 15 to 18 hours per day,” y al día siguiente, te levantas y a repetir.
