Sobre esta carrera
Queen Victoria Hospital serves as the start line, signaling this is no ordinary trail run. UTA22 condenses the essence of our longer races into a manageable and rewarding day on the trails, traversing the Blue Mountains with a challenging character befitting a true mountain excursion. It offers a suitable option for runners seeking the UTA experience without committing to ultra distances.
From the hospital, the course incorporates key UTA sections through Kedumba Valley before demanding a strong finish via the final ascent of the Furber Steps into Scenic World. Runners can anticipate climbs, descents, and the characteristic trail-race cadence of pacing, aid station stops, and conserving energy for the stairs. While the field includes many participants new to longer trail events, the course promises "epic trails and good times."
