24. Benefizlauf Aachen

Benefizlauf Aachen is a charity race day in Aachen, Germany, with all races finishing at Waldstadion on I. Rote-Haag-Weg. The adult program includes a 5k, a 10k, and a 3k team race where three teammates run at the same time. Walkers and Nordic walkers get an 8k option, and the starts are spread from late morning into early afternoon. The courses are rolling rather than flat, so even the shorter races ask for some rhythm changes. Children and youth races are part of the event too, which makes it more of a local club-and-family day than a single-distance road race. The benefit purpose is right in the name, and the shared Waldstadion finish gives the different races one common endpoint.
