39. Giro Hattersheim - Feldbergmarathon

Giro Hattersheim begins and ends at Heinrich-Böll-Schule in Hattersheim, west of Frankfurt, with the first participants departing at 6:00 AM. This annual road cycling tour, organized by RC Radsportfreunde Hattersheim, offers several route options rather than a single fixed race distance. The event is a traditional Taunus ride on the Rhine-Main cycling calendar, and the club anticipates up to 800 participants. The shortest route is the 23 km Familytour through the Regionalpark, and the longest is a 219 km marathon covering approximately 3,000 meters of elevation gain. Riders selecting the long Feldberg routes ascend the Großer Feldberg (878 m), the primary mountain challenge in the Taunus. Start times are staggered by distance, with the marathon commencing first and the family route later in the morning. All control points close at 5:00 PM.
