41. AZ-Abendvolkslauf 2026

AZ-Abendvolkslauf is an evening community running event in the Hanseatic city of Uelzen, starting on Albertstraße near HEG. TV Uelzen and Post SV Uelzen organize the event, offering short children’s races alongside 5 km and 10 km races for youth, adults, and Masters. The event also features walking and Nordic-walking options over 5 km and 10 km. The 5 km race is flat, with approximately 30 meters of elevation gain, and follows a point-to-point course; all competitions conclude at the same finish line. This race marks its 41st edition, following the departure of longtime race figure Hansi after the 40th running.
