48. Dübener Silvesterlauf

The Dübener Silvesterlauf is a New Year's Eve cross-country race in Bad Düben, beginning at the Obermühle on Parkstraße. It takes place outside the stadium, leading participants into the Dübener Heide, the extensive heath and forest region surrounding the town. The schedule is straightforward and community-focused: 10 km, 5 km, 2 km, a 5 km walk, and a 500 m Bambini race for very young children. SV Bad Düben and its athletics section are the organizers of this event, now in its 48th year. The Bambini race kicks off the day in the morning, followed by the 10 km, 5 km, and walking participants, and concluding with the 2 km race. Children, young athletes, adult runners, and walkers are all accommodated within this concise year-end program.
