Charity Mega Run Bingen is a two-day charity running event held at Rhein-Nahe-Eck in Bingen am Rhein, the confluence of the Rhine and Nahe rivers. Participants can select 10, 26, or 52 kilometers, accommodating casual runners, long-distance athletes, and those fundraising. The event combines races with a public gathering, featuring catering, music from DJs and a live band, face painting for children, and a pasta party to start the weekend.
The longest route traces the Rhine to St. Goar before returning to Bingen. Shorter routes turn back sooner. The course crosses the Upper Middle Rhine Valley World Heritage site, remaining largely flat with minor inclines, and includes five aid stations providing water and fruit. All finishers earn a medal, top competitors receive trophies and small awards, and all profits benefit Sportfreunde Diakonie in Bad Kreuznach, supporting inclusion for athletes with disabilities.
