Sobre esta carrera
The Argenthaler Quarzit Adventstrail begins in Argenthal, a village in Germany’s Hunsrück region, with the start at the Kommunikationszentrum on Waldseestraße. This late-November trail run offers three distances: 17.6 km, 11.8 km, or 2.9 km, allowing participants to select a short course or a more challenging forest route. LLG Hunsrück organizes the event, which typically attracts several hundred runners, placing it in the mid-sized category.
The courses follow Hunsrück trails near Argenthal. The 11.8 km route includes 250 meters of elevation gain. Race accounts mention a welcoming, family-like atmosphere, an active bib collection process, and a start/finish area decorated for the pre-Christmas period. The Advent theme is integral to the race, which has previously been recognized as one of Germany’s most scenic trail runs.
