Sobre esta carrera
The Eisleber Frühlingslauf starts and finishes at the Otto-Helm-Kampfbahn in Lutherstadt Eisleben, Saxony-Anhalt, typically held in early June. It offers several road-running distances: 25 km Seelauf, a half marathon, and a 10 km run. Walkers and Nordic walkers have a 10 km option. Shorter races cater to younger runners with children's and student courses from 400 m to 2.8 km, plus relay formats for school and company teams.
The course begins with a sports-field atmosphere before heading toward the Süßer See and open terrain near the water. Depending on the distance, participants may encounter the Kleine Lutherrunde, the 5.6 km Hexenwaldrunde, or a larger lake loop, with some routes encircling the Süßer See. The event feels like a local club race rather than a large-city production, with children, students, families, and people with disabilities actively included. Refreshments are available on the course and at the finish, and the post-race activities can include cake and a bubble ball arena.
