Elbe-Triathlon

The Elbe-Triathlon takes place at the Wassersportzentrum Hamburg-Allermöhe, a water-sports facility in eastern Hamburg. The event offers multiple race distances: the short distance includes a 1.5 km swim, 40 km bike, and 10 km run, while the sprint consists of a 500 m swim, 20 km bike, and a 5 km run. Additionally, there are schoolchildren’s races with shorter distances and a mixed relay for teams of two women and two men. The competition utilizes the local waters near Allermöhe for the swim leg, followed by cycling routes and running trails through Hamburg's green spaces. The short distance also serves as the Hamburg state championship, attracting competitive age-group athletes alongside regular participants. The sprint race anticipates the largest number of competitors, with the children’s races and relay contributing a more club and family-oriented atmosphere. Triabolos Triathlon Hamburg is the organizer, with distances ranging from Triathlon XS for children and juniors to Triathlon M for more seasoned athletes.
