The Kallmünzer Sparkassen-Triathlon takes place at Am Schmidwöhr in Kallmünz, a market town in Bavaria’s Upper Palatinate. This established local triathlon offers sprint and short-distance races. The sprint course includes a 0.6 km swim, 20 km bike ride, and 5 km run. The short distance involves a 1.5 km swim, 35 km bike ride, and 10 km run.
Both solo athletes and relay teams can compete, with the individual sprint and short-distance categories anticipated to have the most participants. ATSV Kallmünz e.V. is the organizing club, sanctioned by the Bavarian Triathlon Association.
