The Frankfurter Mainova Halbmarathon begins outside Deutsche Bank Park and concludes within the stadium, providing a large-arena setting instead of a standard street finish. This half marathon in Frankfurt is organized by Spiridon Frankfurt e.V., a local club focused on running, marathon, and triathlon events. Demand is high, with entries selling out within 12 hours of registration opening. The race recently recorded 10,553 finishers, marking its third consecutive finisher record. The event is included in the Rosbacher Main-Lauf-Cup and has previously served as the venue for the German Half Marathon Championship. This championship attracted a more competitive field at the front and yielded fast age-group results. Esther Pfeiffer established the women's course record at 1:10:39 while securing the German title, and Richard Ringer claimed the men's German title with a time of 1:03:26. The championship participants' results closely mirrored the overall standings, although Yihun Fantahun Gezahign finished second overall, joining the leading group.
