Osnabrück

Osnabrück lies on the edge of the Teutoburg Forest, where flat city running transitions quickly to rolling terrain favoured by gravel and mountain bikers heading into the forested hills. The Wadenkneifer Gravelride and Lengerich Teuto-Ride RTF draw cyclists into the mixed gravel and forest roads of the Tecklenburger Land, rolling country with 200–300m climbs typical of the region. Runners find the city centre loop mostly flat, but the forest trails north toward the Alfsee offer soft-ground routes that local parkrunners and trail clubs favour.
