PAUL100 - Panoramasteig Ultra 100 Meilen 2027

The PAUL100 is part of the PAUL ultra-running series, held on the Bergisches Panoramasteig in Germany’s Bergisches Land Nature Park. All races begin and end in Lindlar at Linder Treff, with participants selecting from three distances: PAUL150 (150 miles), PAUL100, and PAUL50. The PAUL150 involves approximately 7,000 meters of climbing, characterizing it as mountain-and-forest ultra running, distinct from a flat endurance challenge. PAUL150 entry requires proof of a completed 100-mile race within the past 24 months or a DUV statistics link, with organizer review of applications. PAUL100 and PAUL50 do not have these prior-race qualification requirements. The course utilizes a certified Wanderbares Deutschland quality hiking trail through the Bergisches Land, crossing the Agger and Wupper valleys, mixed forests, open meadows, reservoirs, and high ridges offering expansive views. Field sizes are restricted; PAUL150 has a limit of 75 standard entries plus a 30-runner early-start contingent. The time limits reflect the races' demands: up to 62 hours for PAUL150, up to 50 hours for PAUL100, and up to 26 hours for PAUL50, varying by competition and start group. Participants receive aid stations, drop bag service, live GPS tracking, a shuttle for those who withdraw, finish-line food, and a finisher memento.
