Festatrail 2026

Festatrail is a May trail-running and hiking series in Occitanie, centered on Pic Saint-Loup and the Hortus massif north of Montpellier. The finishes are in Saint-Mathieu-de-Tréviers in Hérault. The program ranges from short discovery races to a 105 km ultra, with listed distances of 7 km, 12 km, 17 km, 18 km, 44 km, 65 km, and 105 km. The routes traverse technical terrain across cliffs, forest, mountain paths, châteaux country, and open viewpoints around the two massifs. The Ultra Draille and Hérault Trail begin in Brissac and conclude in Saint-Mathieu-de-Tréviers. Other formats include solo races, relay options, duo entries, Nordic walking, kids’ and junior races, and the Pitchou’Pic for the youngest participants. Several races offer UTMB Index status, and six contribute to the Challenge du Pic Saint-Loup. The event functions as a family "festa" alongside its race weekend, emphasizing local heritage and environmental protection within its sporting program.
