Sobre esta carrera
La Course de l'Ours is a charity run held in Tréguier, Côtes-d'Armor. The race activities take place around the port and nearby starting points. It is held in autumn and offers runners multiple options: the standard 13 km race, an 8 km race named l'Ourson, and a 26 km route with a limit of 250 participants. The total event is capped at 999 participants, maintaining a local-race scale despite offering several formats.
The race emphasizes solidarity alongside running. Organizers donate all profits to ADAPEI les Nouëlles, Trégor Goëlo section, supporting children at the Ker an Héol medical-educational institute in Minihy-Tréguier. Following a cancelled edition, donations still enabled the association to provide 7,500 euros to the children at the IME. Participants receive practical support, including refreshments, cloakroom service, toilets, a photographer, a finisher gift, and shuttles for 26 km and 13 km runners and walkers to leave their vehicles near the finish line.
