Sobre esta carrera
Les Foulées de Vincennes is a road race held in Vincennes, east of Paris in Val-de-Marne. The start and finish are located on Cours Marigny, by the town hall. It typically takes place in early February and marks the 21st running of the event. The primary event is the 10 km race, offered in two formats: a competitive race for those aiming to finish under 50 minutes, and a leisure race open to all participants. Shorter races are also available, including 5 km options and children's races of 800 m and 2,000 m.
The course consists of a 5 km loop along wide avenues, crossing Vincennes streets and bordering the Bois de Vincennes. The competitive 10 km is segmented by pace, with starting corrals designated for runners targeting sub-35, sub-40, sub-45, and sub-50-minute finishes; participants must submit proof of their previous times. The leisure 10 km offers a less intense pace, with pacers available for 50 minutes, 55 minutes, one hour, and over one hour. The race village and associated activities are situated on the town hall square, integrating the event into the town's center rather than a secluded park setting.
