The Trail d'Auray begins in Auray, Morbihan, Brittany, near the Gulf of Morbihan and the Auray river. This June race day includes trail and urban running, featuring a main trail of approximately 29 km with 550-560 m of elevation gain, a 15 km trail, a 10 km urban trail, Nordic walking, and children's races.
The Association Trail d'Auray organizes the event, using it to showcase Auray and its local heritage. The quays of Saint-Goustan, Auray's historic port, have been the start and finish line. A recent edition set a record after relocating the start there for the first time. The combination of longer trails, shorter city runs, walking, and children's distances positions it as a local race festival rather than solely a single-distance trail event.
