Sobre esta carrera
The Trail des Sources de l’Ouche begins and ends at the esplanade of the old station in Bligny-Ouche, a village in Côte-d’Or. Beaune Athlétisme 21 organizes the race alongside the Pouilly-Bligny tourist office, local authorities, and the departmental athletics committee. The event is designed for trail runners and walkers, offering four routes that range from a short outing to a challenging day in the hills.
The start village, refreshment stands, and activities are all located at the station esplanade, centralizing the day's events. The 8 km Boucle des Carrières introduces beginners to local climbs with 270 m of elevation gain. The 16 km Boucle du Rail d’antan follows forest paths and old railway lines, covering more distance with 500 m of climbing. The primary event is Le Dahu de la Vallée de l’Ouche, a 35 km route with 980 m of ascent for experienced trail runners, crossing ridges and valleys in the Ouche area. The series also connects to the Espace Trail “De l’Ouche à l’Auxois,” a regional network of trails developed for running and walking.
