Trail Loire & Vignes 2026

Trail Loire & Vignes is a trail-running event held in Juigné-sur-Loire, Maine-et-Loire, France, with vineyards integral to its identity. Taking place in early September, it features three trail distances: a 10 km route suitable for beginners winding through local vineyards, a 19 km option for those seeking a moderate challenge, and a 29 km course for more seasoned trail runners. A 10 km walk is also available, alongside children's and junior races, ensuring the event includes participants of all ages. The series began in 2015, founded by individuals passionate about both running and their commune's heritage. It attracts hundreds of participants annually and supports a charity for sick children. The motto, “Être digne de la Vigne !” translates to “Be worthy of the Vine!”, reflecting a race designed around the Loire region’s vineyard terrain, distinct from a typical road race.
