Triathlon du Val de Gray 2026

The Triathlon du Val de Gray takes place in early July in Gray, Haute-Saône, within France’s Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region. This triathlon weekend offers events for various skill levels, including children’s races, XS, S, M, and L distances, along with relay choices. The event is designed to be family-friendly: children from age six can participate, 10-13 year olds have separate races for girls and boys, and adults can compete individually, in relays, or as company teams. The courses traverse the Terres Hautes-Saônoises area surrounding Gray, incorporating nature, lakes, and ponds into the race setting. The long-distance event features a 1.8 km swim, an 88 km road cycling segment, and a road run. Shorter formats provide more accessible options for new athletes and families. Volunteers are stationed to guide participants, offer encouragement, and respond to inquiries. Saturday also features a regional meal near the Plage de Gray, with lodging options close to the race venue. The event has been held for over two dozen years.
