FunRunForJo 2026

FunRunForJo is a 2.5km family fun run at Oakwell Hall and Country Park in Birstall, West Yorkshire, with race HQ opposite Oakwell Hall. The run starts at 11:15am and is designed for families rather than competitive racing, with a 200-person entry limit, a £10 entry fee, and no entry available on the day. Under-11s must stay with their responsible adult throughout, and the course is not suitable for wheelchairs. The route is one lap on multi-terrain ground with an undulating profile, distance markers, and marshals around the course. This is the 10th and final edition of the memorial run for Jo Cox, held in a place she loved and visited with her family. Fancy dress is encouraged, with possible prizes, and the wider day includes food stalls, a bar, entertainment, and a Mascots' Race at 12:30pm.
