Thanet Coastal 10 Mile

The Thanet Coastal 10 Mile is a late-season road race on the Thanet Coast in East Kent, with a 5 mile option for runners seeking the same event feel over a shorter distance. Held just before the festive season, it serves as a final pre-Christmas outing for club runners, local runners, and those stepping up to a longer road distance. Thanet Roadrunners organise the race, and the 10 mile course follows most of the established Alan Green Thanet 10 Mile route. The route traces the coast, offering open sea views instead of a city-centre loop or park course. Every finisher receives a race medal, and the finish area provides refreshments, music, commentary, baggage drop, and toilets. Results are posted live on the event website as runners finish. Prizes are awarded to the first three men and women, plus male and female veteran categories at V40, V50, and V60. UK Athletics age rules set the minimum age at 17 for the 10 mile race and 15 for the 5 mile race.
