Hercegfutam is a free community running event in Herceghalom, held at Mehrstetten Park on Ördöglovas lejtő. Participants can select 5 km or 10 km races, and families have a 2 km option suitable for strollers and baby carriers. A 388-meter children’s race circles Mehrstetten Park, extending the program beyond typical adult race lengths. Bib pickup and the start take place at the venue. Longer races begin in the morning, followed later by family and children’s events. The day features children’s and family programs, health checks, a senior exercise session, and other on-site activities. Advance registration is necessary. Finishers earn Ötpróba points, integrating the event into Hungary’s recreational sports challenge system.
