The Gran Premio del Lazio is a professional cycling race that revives the traditional Giro del Lazio, with its last edition in 2014. The event brings professional cyclists back to the roads of the Lazio region. The race starts unofficially from Fiuggi at 11:00 AM, with a neutral transfer of 8500 meters. The official start is at 11:20 AM from Ferentino. The race covers 182.35 km and finishes in Anguillara Sabazia, along the shores of Lake Bracciano. The course is designed to be flat, suitable for sprinters, and aims to promote beautiful locations within the provinces of Frosinone, Rome, and Viterbo. The event is organized with the support of the Lazio Region and Sport e Salute.
