The Gimmertse Gravel & wegtocht begins and ends in Handel, a village in North Brabant close to Gemert. This cycling tour offers two gravel routes and a 100-kilometer road ride, allowing participants to select from 70, 90, or 100 kilometers. The entry fee is modest, around €6 to €6.50, and TWC Gemert is the organizing body. The gravel courses utilize unpaved paths and tranquil country lanes surrounding Handel and Gemert, incorporating asphalt segments for respite. The longer gravel route is approximately 60% off-road with 500 meters of elevation gain, providing a more challenging ride than a simple flat farm-road circuit. The road ride utilizes the same rest stop as the gravel routes, and amenities include showers, changing facilities, bicycle washing stations, and supervised bike parking.
