Haarlem

Haarlem is a compact, flat Dutch city 20km west of Amsterdam where the running and cycling infrastructure is equally relentless. The Teva Halve van Haarlem half-marathon and SportSupport Halve van Haarlem draw serious runners through the city's canal network and surrounding polders; cyclists treat Haarlem as a springboard into the dune routes along the North Sea coast (15–20km west) and south toward the Gooi region's gentle forest roads.
