Eastern BOP Triathlon Club Monthly Du - June
domingo, junio 7, 2026 · Eastern Bay of Plenty, New Zealand
Ubicación de inicio
Eastern Bay of Plenty, Bay of Plenty
Sobre esta carrera
The reserve at the eastern end of Harbour Road, opposite Ōhope Golf Club, serves as the base for this winter club event. It is a Road/Path/Park Duathlon, the straightforward kind: run, bike, run, with “short and long course options” offered. Eastern BOP Triathlon Club Monthly Du: June follows the club’s first-Sunday monthly schedule, featuring triathlon in summer and duathlon during winter.
Expect a practical course utilizing Harbour Road paths, park edges, and road sections, concluding at the starting point near the golf club. Adults participate, and children aged 11 and older can also race, contributing to the local club atmosphere where participants aim for a solid effort. The format is distinctive: “Duathlon (Run + Bike + Run)”, omitting the swim, focusing on transitions, pacing, and a second run that reveals the success of the bike leg.
