Feilding Festival of Running 2026

The Feilding Festival of Running takes place at Timona Park in Feilding. Race headquarters are located at the football clubrooms on Simon Street. The Feilding Moa Harrier & Athletic Club organizes the event, which includes a marathon, half marathon, 10km, 5km, and 2.5km races. These distances cater to long-distance runners, walkers, club athletes, children, beginners, families, and those with buggies. The marathon follows a two-lap out-and-back road course. The half marathon uses the same format over 21.1km. The 10km is a shorter road race for runners and walkers. The 5km and 2.5km events are held off-road on the grass within Timona Park. The club's broader program also features an open-handicap cross-country race on a rolling farm course at the end of Junction Road West in Halcombe. In this race, each participant receives a designated start time and watches a digital clock for their individual departure. Trophies and prizegiving are included, maintaining the event's connection to club racing traditions alongside mass participation.
