Kinloch Off Road Challenge
sábado, septiembre 5, 2026 · Kinloch, Nueva Zelanda
Sobre esta carrera
Kinloch Domain serves as the center for the Kinloch Off Road Challenge, with routes extending into the trail network surrounding Kinloch, Kawakawa Bay, Boojum Dell, and the W2K track. It offers the character of a true trail event rather than a road race relocated to gravel: single-track forest sections, headland loops, lake-front paths, and mixed rural tracks, all connected by those "world-class trails."
Underfoot conditions promise variety, from forest single track to exposed headland running with "lake and mountain views," then returning to lakefront paths and marina boardwalks for the finish. The participants range from serious trail runners to walkers, families, children, and beginners, ensuring it is not an event exclusively for specialists. A practical detail is that it is cup-free; participants must carry their own reusable cup, bottle, or hydration pack. The memento at the end is a "3D koru-design medal."
