Biegaj z Gminą Oświęcim

Biegaj z Gminą Oświęcim is a family running event in Poręba Wielka, at the LKS Poręba sports facility in the Oświęcim commune. The day includes children’s races, youth races, a family run, and an OPEN 5 km race with electronic timing and a 300-runner limit. It takes place on a Sunday in June, with registration in the morning, children’s races first, the 5 km race before midday, and awards early in the afternoon. The 5 km route is mostly road, with about 80% on asphalt and 20% on dirt, and the course is marked with checkpoints. The event involves the commune, cultural and sports center, local club, fire brigade, village leaders, Sport Events Team, and charity group Stowarzyszenie Pozytywni. Entry fees from the OPEN run go to treatment costs for a named beneficiary. The program also features children’s attractions such as inflatables, face painting, temporary tattoos, colorful braids, educational stands, prevention and promotion booths, and a food zone.
