Sobre esta carrera
The Enea Żnin Triathlon Sztafety is a relay-focused triathlon held in Żnin, within Poland's Pałuki region. The race headquarters are situated by Lake Żnińskie and Cukrownia Żnin. Participants can choose from three distances: 1/8, 1/4, and 1/2. Individuals can compete solo, or teams can divide the swim, bike, and run segments. The 1/8 distance, suitable for beginners, includes a 475 m swim, a 22.5 km bike ride, and a 5.25 km run. The 1/4 distance doubles these figures to 950 m, 45 km, and 10.55 km, respectively. The 1/2 distance is the longest, featuring a 1,900 m swim, a 90 km bike course, and a half-marathon run.
The location is convenient and accessible, with Żnin positioned between Bydgoszcz and Poznań. Access is provided via the S5 route, and the venue is approximately a 30-minute drive from neighboring cities. The event caters to a diverse range of athletes, from first-time triathletes attempting the 1/8 distance to seasoned competitors tackling the half. The relay format is particularly beneficial, allowing specialists in swimming, cycling, or running to contribute to a single race day, rather than requiring each person to complete all disciplines.
