Sobre esta carrera
Galanta Pętla is a self-supported cycling ultramarathon held at the Sieradz-Męka Recreation Center in Sieradz. The race office, start, finish, bathrooms, accommodation, and meal distribution are all located at this central point. Participants depart in late June for an individual ride of approximately 500 km, guided by a GPX track and completing the entire route using only their own physical effort within a 52-hour time limit.
The course features roads with mixed surfaces, presenting more than just a long ride on consistent tarmac. Riders have the flexibility to deviate from the track when necessary, provided they rejoin it at the same point before proceeding. This format is designed for cyclists capable of navigation, self-management of food and rest, and independent problem-solving without external race support.
