XXXVI Policka Pietnastka

Policka Pietnastka is a June race weekend in Police, Poland, featuring a 15 km main race and a shorter 5 km option for adults. The program also includes Nordic walking and children's races, functioning more like a local sports festival than a single start line for club runners. The event is organized by the Active Police Foundation and is in its 36th edition. The children's races take place on a meadow behind Primary School No. 8, while adults run or walk the 5 km and 15 km routes. The field includes competitive runners, Nordic walkers, children, and local officials: the Municipal Council chairman has run the 15 km, and a deputy mayor has joined the Nordic walking event. Another deputy mayor presents medals to winners, giving the race a strongly local, civic feel.
