Svätojánsky beh na Domaši is a late-June trail race held at the Domaša Dobrá recreational area in Kvakovce. It is situated near the Bohémia harbor and the Bogárka parking area. Participants can select a 13 km or 5 km race, with children’s races also scheduled. The longer route involves an ascent of approximately 350 meters, while the shorter route gains about 90 meters. Consequently, even the 5 km option is not a flat course. The terrain is almost exclusively trail, with minimal asphalt sections.
The shorter route proceeds towards the small church on Trepč, and the longer route extends towards Grófňa. The race is organized by OZ Grófňa in collaboration with the municipality of Kvakovce. Local sports enthusiasts, including Miki Vrábeľ and Lukáš Mokroluský, are instrumental in its organization. The event attracts a diverse local field: the 13 km race features age groups ranging from younger adults to runners in their sixties, and the 5 km race includes open categories for men and women, as well as categories for older runners. The event is also part of the Michalovce–Sobrance running league, integrating it into the regional racing schedule.
