Berkshire Brevet BashBish 300K / 400k

This brevet heads west into the Berkshires, then south along the Housatonic River to Kent, CT. The route crosses into eastern NY before returning to Westfield. It's a lollipop shape, featuring significant climbs like Jacob's Ladder (8 miles) outbound and inbound. Bash Bish Falls is another challenge, 4.5 miles long with two short sections of steep, 18% grades. Pace line riding is permitted. There's an upper time limit. RUSA membership is required; lights and reflective wear are needed. Controls are unstaffed, using information controls and QR codes for route confirmation.
