La Jones Gap Trail Half Marathon (US) es de esas carreras que hacen cada año y te mete de lleno en el Jones Gap State Park, dentro de la Mountain Bridge Wilderness Area. El recorrido empieza por una carretera que te lleva a Jones Gap, y luego ya te metes en los single-track, ¡a subir! Vas a subir hasta Little Pinnacle Mountain y pasarás por Rainbow Falls, con los bosques de fondo.
El terreno te va a exigir, eso seguro, pero la belleza del sitio te va a dar alas para seguir adelante. Ojo, que es una carrera "cup-less", sin vasos en los avituallamientos, así que no te olvides de llevar tu propio bidón o vaso plegable.
