A serious gravel challenge. The shorter routes are 88% gravel, and the King Kong, the Grande Dame of the weekend, is roughly 80% gravel. You, your kit, and your bike will need to be Present and Correct; consider it self-supported. Illinois State Championship titles are up for grabs in USAC, Masters 40+, 50+, and junior categories. Claim the King Kong or Queen Kong title, a crown you'll need to defend next year.
